About me

For the past 20 years, snowboarding has been my life! I have been involved in all parts of the snowboarding industry, from working in retail to tuning boards in the workshop to running demo days on the mountain.

I now work as a snowboard coach in Verbier, Switzerland, where I have taught 100’s of people to snowboard, and coached others to become snowboard instructors. I have trained under different snowboard systems, including the British, the Swiss, and New Zealand.

This has given me great insight into how to teach, and I now kind of have my own hybrid model, where I pick the best bits from each system.

My own snowboard journey has gone through different fazes as well. I used to ride a lot of park and pipe, competing in local comps.

I then got more into my freeriding when I moved to the epic mountains of Switzerland. And now, I like to venture deeper into the backcountry on my splitboard.

Although I’m now a bit washed up when it comes to freestyle, on a good day, I can still throw a few spins in the park, and still crank out a decent method!

I now call Switzerland home, but snowboarding has taken me all over the world, from as far south as New Zealand to as far north as Norway.

Settling down in the mountains has always been a dream for me, and I can now share some of my knowledge about the sport I love through this website.

I’m always interested to hear from other snowboarders, so if yo would like to get in touch you can email me at [email protected]
